AI interviews & data privacy
1. What is a Geektrust AI Interview?
An AI interview at Geektrust is a structured technical interview supported by AI.

AI helps guide the flow of questions, adapt to a candidate’s responses, and capture consistent signals. Humans design the interview, set the evaluation standards, and review every interview. The AI does not make hiring decisions on its own.

2. How does the AI Interviewer evaluate candidates?
The AI interviewer evaluates candidates through a structured interview framework designed by experienced technologists.

It looks at how candidates approach problems, explain their thinking, and apply core technical concepts. The interview adapts based on responses to explore depth where it matters.

AI helps capture consistent signals during the interview, while humans review the interview, interpret the signals, and make the final assessment.

3. Who reviews interview outcomes?
Interview outcomes are always reviewed by experienced technologists and recruiters. AI supports the process, but humans make the final call.

4. Are Geektrust AI interviews customizable?
Yes. Companies can customize interview structure, questions, difficulty levels, and evaluation criteria based on the role.

5. Does Geektrust replace human decision-making?
No. Geektrust is designed to replace first-round tech interviews, not final human decision-making.

6. Can candidates cheat in Geektrust interviews?
Geektrust uses a combination of human proctors, interview controls (such as detecting tab switching), and post-interview review checks to reduce cheating and ensure fair evaluation.

7. What data is collected during interviews?
Geektrust collects interview responses, recordings and transcripts, and technical outputs like code, used only for interview review and hiring decisions. We do not capture personal information. Evaluation is solely based on skills.

8. How does Geektrust reduce bias in AI interviews?
Geektrust’s AI interviewer evaluates only skills and problem-solving. It has no access to personal details such as demographics, gender, or years of experience, and every outcome is reviewed by a human.

9. Who can access interview data?
Interview data can be accessed only by authorised Geektrust reviewers and the relevant hiring teams, strictly for interview review and hiring decisions.

10. How is interview data stored and protected?
Interview data is stored securely using industry-standard protections, with strict access controls and safeguards to prevent unauthorised access or misuse.
